Michi Sanderson | Architect

Michi joined Bero in 2023 after returning to Rochester and having worked for several years in Washington DC with a specific focus on classical architecture and ecclesiastic design.

She particularly enjoys the challenge of developing solutions that accommodate complex modern building systems and code requirements within a design language and material palette rooted in tradition.

Michi received a Bachelor of Architecture with a concentration in Historic Preservation and Restoration from the University of Notre Dame in 2015 and obtained her architectural licensure in 2020. She is an accomplished hand renderer and watercolorist, who has had the opportunity to illustrate a recently released children’s book.

Michi lives in Irondequoit with her husband and two children.
