Lauren Gonsalves | Architectural Associate
Lauren joined Bero Architecture as an employee in September 2025, having previously been the 2023 Bero-Howk Historic Preservation Intern.
Lauren has a Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, and Master of Design in Historic Preservation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her Masters studies investigated the midcentury urban renewal movement in the northeast, culminating with an adaptive reimagining of the Empire State Plaza in Albany. She is also passionate about public history and museum studies and was a summer research fellow in 2022 at Historic Deerfield in Deerfield, Massachusetts.
Lauren lives in downtown Rochester with her cat Anubis and enjoys seeing movies at The Little Theatre, hiking, and making friends around the city.
